Thanks to the DPC technology in our Sharplight Omnimax laser device, we can safely and effectively target pigmented and vascular lesions on skin types I-V. Vascular lesions typically require 1-3 treatments, and pigmented lesions can require 2-6 treatments. Results can be seen after just one treatment in both cases.

Our patented DPC technology, which offers a blend of the benefits of a laser and IPL, offers effective treatment of telangiectasia, erythema, rosacea and broken capillaries by efficiently coagulating and eliminating small blood vessels. DPC has also been proven an effective, safe, reliable and fast treatment for a range of superficial pigmented lesions such as dyschromia, solar lentigo, mottled pigmentation and melasma. The treatments are comfortable and require no downtime. On some of the larger lesions there will be a feeling of a rubber band snap that is quickly gone. Our state-of-the-art Sharplight handpiece is actively cooled with a sapphire crystal to -8 degrees offering immediate relief.

Once treated, the lesions will take a few days to two weeks to be gradually removed. The pigmented lesions will initially appear darker and rise to the surface of the skin to be sloughed away. It is important to keep the skin moisturized and to not pick at them. For vascular lesions, it takes the body a similar period of time to clear away the coagulated vessels.
